DAMAGE FROM HURRICANE MARIA:
The hotel suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Maria in 2017, but the steel frame structure of the main house remains in sound condition and as new. However, there is water damage to sections of the interior requiring the replacement of dry wall (sheet rock) This has since been replaced.
The cottage beside the pool containing 2 guestrooms is undamaged.
Because of the property’s design, it could easily be reappointed as a private dwelling in various configurations including staff accommodation and a additional guest cottage.
